Window Treatments

I had already made two lots of sheers with a wooden, painted pelmet for her living room. My clients wanted the same in the bedroom, but with a motorised blind hidden beneath the pelmet. She knew she wanted panelling and a green colour but wasn’t sure about the walls and needed help bringing it all together.

I suggested the colours on the walls, wardrobes and panelling, and even the wardrobe door pulls. I suggested the fabric for the sheers and gave a choice of fabrics for the blind which Michele chose from. I gave reassurance about the bed choice and have given suggestions of ceiling lights. 

My clients have a system they use for all their lighting so they added the lights in the pelmet but this is something I can offer too. 

I made the sheers, my husband made the pelmet, we both installed it, I then spent time painting, sanding, filling and making it look like it was an existing feature of the room. I provided the blind and my husband installed it. I painted the wardrobes and panelling.
